Letting Go Never Ends
People talk about letting go like it’s the easiest thing in the world to do. “Just let it go”, they chime, like they know all about it. Even Disney has a song about it. But what does it mean, really?
Well, from what I can gather, based on personal experience, study and research, is that letting go is not something you do, but a state of being you become when aligned with a loving perspective. Letting go is a way of life. It is the flow, alignment and ease. It is infinite patience, love and overflowing gratitude. Letting go is allowing all that is to be and loving it all as it is. It is at one with perpetual shifting, rising and falling, ever-expanding change.
We are not here to hold on. Holding on is limited. Holding on binds us to painful illusions, past projections and fearful, terrorising emotional imprints keep us locked in negative spiralling thought patterns. Holding on leads to stagnation and a limited notion of life and death. Letting go is living in the flow of eternal love.
Letting go can only really be experience through profound inner work and a withdrawal from the “illusion”, which is ultimately everything we see, think and feel as an external. It is a process of withdrawing from your external attachments, in particular those that cause you pain on any level, and going within to sit with, breathe through, relate to in a loving way and ultimately transform into a lighter existence. Lightness feels better and is more clear. When you achieve this feeling of lightness, it can be practiced as a way of life, continually transforming and expanding your awareness and your life. This is the art of letting go. You are letting go of everything you think you are and aligning with your most blessed and loving feelings, and it is all happening from within.
As you begin to sense this feeling and practice it, more and more will become clear to you. Choosing better feeling thoughts will become easier and you will soon develop the ability to continually shift low-frequency or bad-feeling patterns into lighter ones. That’s what alignment is. You use your feelings as a way to guide you through life and over and over again you choose to feel good, healthy, happy and abundant and then that is how life shows up for you.
Remember though, you still have to feel all your feelings to really get good at working with them consciously rather than fighting against or resisting the outer world through our emotional reactive patterning. Like anything, it takes practice to get good at it and to have a personal experience requires self study and introspection.
With mounting global pressures building in the collective, withdrawing and spending time feeling into the art of letting go will offer up more peace, clarity and ease in your life, so why not give it a go? There’s no rush, ever, because letting go never ends.
Love you lots!
